Chan Chun Hei selected for Distinguished Master, Accomplished Students Mentorship Programme

Chan Chun Hei (5C) has been selected as one of the mentees for the Distinguished Master, Accomplished Students Mentorship Programme.

The programme is jointly organized by the Academy of Sciences of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences and the Hong Kong Institution of Science.

It aims to nurture elite senior secondary students in the field of science and technology under a 2-year mentorship of local scientists and engineers.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the City University of Hong Kong last Sunday, 28 January 2018. Mentors for the programme include Dr. Tsui Lap-chee, Founding President of the Academy of Sciences of Hong Kong, and Mr. Shun Chi-ming, an SPC alumnus and the current Director of the Hong Kong Observatory.

Chun Hei’s mentor is Dr. Alex Chan Siu Kun, a renowned mechanical engineer who has made significant contributions to development of transportation systems both locally and internationally.
