The 42nd Hong Kong Mathematics Olympiad (HKMO) 2025

The 42nd Hong Kong Mathematics Olympiad (HKMO) 2025, co-organised by The Education University of Hong Kong and the Mathematics Education Section of the Education Bureau, held its award ceremony on April 26, 2025.

Congratulations to Wang Yuk To Terry (1C) for achieving First-Class Honour, Wu You (5F) and Pu Shengzhe (4E) for achieving Second-Class Honour. These three students, along with Wang Chris Sen Yu (5F), Wang Xiang (4A) and Cheng Paak Him (1D), collectively achieved a Third-class Honour for the Heats and a Merit for the Finals. These awards recognise students with outstanding achievements in Olympiad Mathematics.

We hope their accomplishments inspire others to strive for excellence, fostering perseverance and dedication. Their success demonstrates the power of hard work, determination, and a passion for mathematics.
