PREFECTS' COUNCIL

Head Prefect: Lau Ethan Ambrose 6F
Advisers: Mr. LI Yu Hin (Chief), Miss Chan Hoi Lam

A prefect is a senior student who is authorized by the Principal to help maintain school discipline and has an obligation to help fellow schoolmates with all his might. A prefect presents himself always as a role model to others.

Obligations
1. Our obligation to the Principal: to maintain good order and discipline inside and outside the school premises. This means we watch out for offences committed by students and to prevent any violation of school rules by students. We are also responsible for maintaining and promoting good manners and good behaviour at school.
2. Our obligation to schoolmates: to give guidance and provide a harmonious learning environ ment for our schoolmates. This means that prefects should whenever possible be ready to help our schoolmates.

A Charter of Rights and Responsibilities
The aims of our school rules are to make each person aware of the value of self-control and to develop a sense of responsibility for their own conduct and for the well being of others. Rules are established as guidelines for behaviour and should lead the student to be able to distinguish between freedom and license. Within a community, freedom can never mean complete liberty for the individual to do as they please, as they must be aware of the effect of any of their actions on others. Our behaviour management policy is based on a Charter of Rights and Responsibilities. This Charter applies to students, staff, & parents.
