We are pleased to announce that Yuen Tsz Hin (5D) of Solastra has been elected president of St. Paul’s College Students’ Association for the 2025-2026 academic year. According to the Constitution of the Students’ Association, under the ‘one student, one vote’ system, when there is only one presidential candidate, they must receive at least 50% of the recorded votes to be elected. The results of this year’s election are as follows:
Total number of votes cast: 1,088
Votes of support: 759
Support rate: 69.8%
Shortly before the election on 11 September, the Students’ Association held the annual presidential election forum. Volerus, the outgoing cabinet, presented their annual report to the schoolmates. The core three members of Solastra also outlined their aims, proposed events, and welfare initiatives for this school year. Students were able to raise questions and provide feedback on Solastra’s proposals, encouraging more active participation in the Students’ Association. We also hope that Solastra will fulfill its promises and promote student welfare.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank several parties for their contributions. First, we thank the executive committee members of Volerus for their immense effort in running the Students’ Association. Second, we express our gratitude to the teacher advisors, namely chief advisor Mr. Chan Chi Chiu, Ms. Chan Kit Yee, Ms. Tse Yan Yu, Mr. Allan Jolly, Mr. Ng Jeffrey Ka Lap, Ms. Tsoi Hoi Yin, and Assistant Vice Principal Ms. Flora Wong, for their diligent coordination and guidance over the past year. Lastly, we would like to thank former principal Mr. Dennis Yuen and current principal Mr. Michael Mak for their unwavering support of the Students’ Association.
