English Fun Day 2021

The English Department and English Society hosted the annual English Fun Day on Wednesday, 30 June 2021 with a twist: F1 students were invited to visit our seven game zones stationed at the Gym, ELC and CAL room throughout the day and to turn in their stamp cards for food prizes at GP3.

The F1s were in for a cardio workout as they were seen excitedly running back and forth to the various stations, and as the first batch of students allowed to have iPads for school, some of the game zones encouraged them to fully utilize their tech skills while having fun with their peers.

Although the event was originally scheduled to take place in the Hall on Monday, it was inevitably cancelled as a result of the Red Rainstorm Warning. However, the English Department, English Society and Form 5 Prefects and Helpers were able to pull through and restructure the entire event to bring back a bit of happiness and excitement for Form 1s so that they could also take part in a longstanding event and tradition; it was also meant to remind them of what it means to be at SPC and a part of this extensive and loving community.

A major shoutout to the Senior Management Team, and all of the teachers, staff and students who have put in their part to make this event happen: Thank you for demonstrating what team spirit is and what it means to be a part of SPC!
