Sidney Leung (5B) -- Youth Leadership Award Winner

Congratulations to Leung Sze Ngai Sidney (5B) on winning the Outstanding Student Award in the Youth Leadership Award Scheme 2021.

The award scheme is jointly organized by Fung Hon Chu Education Trust Fund and Man Kwan Education Fund and the theme for this year is “Pursuing Excellence and Beyond” (卓越今天，成就將來).

Sidney was selected as one of the outstanding student award winners after going through two exacting rounds of screening interviews, which fully assessed the candidates’ involvement and achievement in four major domains: leadership, creativity, talent and social responsibility.

Sidney is a worthy winner with a wealth of experience in ECA leadership roles. At school, he is the chairman of the OLE Student Executive Committee. Outside the College, he heads the Joint-school Community Service Project Team. He was also an organizing committee member of the 6th “Girls Get Equal” Youth Conference 2021, which was held from January to March 2021 by Plan International Hong Kong and the Department of Asian and International Studies of the City University of Hong Kong.

A recipient of a scholarship of $5000, Sidney will be attending a leadership training camp with the other winners. The award presentation ceremony will be held in October 2021.
